July 7, 2016 Boise, Idaho – In the last game of opening day of the 2016 Summer Classic held at Centennial High School, the Withnell Dodgers had a relatively easy time against the Centennial Cannons. The Dodgers defeated the Cannons 18-8.
The 2016 Summer Classic is a baseball tournament held in Boise, Idaho. It consists of 18 teams from four states: Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada and is held at three high schools over four days.
