Sept. 28, 2016 Salem, OR – The Chemeketa Storm face a tough opponent at home in the manner of the Clark Penguins.  The Penguins are on fire this season as opposed to the Storm who are smoldering.  The first of four goals was made at 31 minutes.  Most of this time Chemeketa spent defending their goal and rarely made it into Clark territory.  The Penguins would score another three goals and pick up the 4-0 win.

It was fun watching the Penguins.  Almost every move seemed thought out and they had very good ball control and movement.  They were very methodical and patient.  With the win, Clark is now 6-0 in NWAC South league play and 9-2 overall.

Even though the Storm lost, they did hold their own pretty well.  It took the Penguins 31 minutes to finally score and the last time these two teams met, Clark defeated them 9-0.  So, there has been some improvement.  With the loss Chemeketa remains at the bottom of the NWAC South league at 0-5 and overall at 0-10.
