February 28, 2017 Sandy, OR – It was a close game for the Sandy Pioneers as they hosted the Bend Lava Bears in the OSAA 5A Play-in game. Going into the fourth quarter Sandy had a three-point lead. Then, the Pioneers kicked it into gear and went on to defeat Bend 66-47.
#11 Sandy now travels to face the #6 Crescent Valley Raiders in the first round of the OSAA 5A playoffs. The game is set for March 3 at 7 pm at Crescent Valley High School.
