January 28, 2022 Wenatchee, WA – Two down one to go. The Penticton Vees take Game 2 at the Town Toyota Center Friday night. The Vees spoil the Wilds chance to even up the series with a 6-2 win. Wild Right Winger #20 Cade Stibbe opened the scoring at 13:10 in the first period assisted by #27 Garrett Szydlowski and #8 Ean Somoza.
The Vees charged back with five unanswered goals . An unassisted power play goal by Wenatchee’s #9 Landon Parker at 9:20 in the third ended Penticton’s string of goals, But the Vees had one more goal in them.
Closing the game with the sixth goal at 12:33 of the third. The Wild will have one more chance to defend their home ice in the third and final game of the series Saturday night.
