September 11, 2018 Toledo, OR – The Toledo Boomers defeated the visiting Myrtle Point Bobcats 3-0. (25-17, 25-12, 25-18)
One of the biggest improvements I saw from the Boomers in this game can be summed up in one word. communication. There was more talking which lead to better offense and defense. Toledo took the first two sets relatively easily but in the third it appeared they got a little overconfident and the Bobcats were close to taking the set. The Boomers regrouped, played strong. and won the set.
This is the first league win for the Boomers and are now 1-0 in league play and 6-3 overall.
The Bobcats are now 1-1 in league play and 4-2 overall.
