April 25, 2018 Salem, OR – The West Salem Titans are getting in just the right groove as regular season play nears an end. Going into their game against the visiting Sprague Olympians the Titans have one eight out of their last ten games and sit in the number two spot in the 6A-5 Greater Valley Conference behind West Albany.
Sprague has been struggling this season. The Olympians entered the game against West Salem with a 6-10 overall record and a 2-6 league record. They sit in the number seven spot in the 6A-5 Greater Valley Conference.
The Olympians held their own for a couple innings but the Titans would take command midway through the game and pick up the 13-3 win. West Salem next travels to West Albany to try to take down the 6A-5 Greater Valley Conference number one team.
Sprague’s next match-up will be at home against a tough Forest Grove team.
