I always enjoy the adults who attend sporting events.  Well, not always, some can be downright stupid and annoying but, in general, I do find most of them entertaining, especially when they vocally share their vast expertise of the game by yelling their thoughts at the coaches.  These adults always know exactly what play the coach should have called and what play the coach should call next.  This goes for both the defensive and offensive side of the game. Westlake Picks up Non-Region Win Over Wasatch

Aug. 28, 2015 Saratoga Springs, UT – The Westlake Thunder hosted the Wasatch Wasps and had a relatively easy game.  The Thunder were scoring touchdowns but the Wasps had to settle for field goals.  Westlake picked up the 38-9 win. It was a good night for the Westlake passing game as quarterback Saia Taufatofua threw for three touchdowns including a 45-yard reception by Jed Killian.  Defense also scored on a interception, which Gabe Summers ran 40 yard for the score. Hawks Defeat Bengals Win 5A State Title

May 21, 2015 Sandy, UT – The Alta Hawks and the Brighten Bengals played a hard fought game as they battled for the 5A state title. Both teams had solid looks at the net but both also had to look through solid defenses that had to be penetrated.  Bryson Colemore was the bright spot for the Hawks.  He neted both of Alta’s scores, one in each half, to give the Hawks the 2-1 win and 5A state title. Skyline Defeats East On Freshman Kick

May 21, 2015 Sandy, UT – It came down to a shootout at the 4A state soccer championship match, which featured the Skyline Eagles and the East Leopards. Not only did it come down to a shootout but also to the foot of Skyline freshman Andrew Garcia. With the composure of a senior, Garcia caught the keeper off guard and kicked the ball right down the middle and into the net to seal the OT win for the Eagles second straight 4A title.
