December 28, 2016 Oregon City, OR – In the first round of the Clackamas Men’s Basketball Tournament, it would take double overtime to decide the winner of the third game of the day.
This game featured the Yakima Yaks matched up against the Edmonds Tritons.
Nearing the end of game, the Yaks appeared to have the game in hand. Then, the Tritons stepped up and tied the game at the end of regulation at 78.
The first overtime, which the clock is five minutes, was exciting. There were lots of great plays and shots by both teams. However, both teams could not take complete control and the first OT ended tied at 87.
The excitement continued throughout the second OT but it would be Yakima that would finally be victorious by defeating Edmonds 102-96.
